Board Care Instructions
EF Woodcraft boards are crafted from figured hardwoods.
With proper care, your board will look stunning for years to come.
Cleaning
Wipe the board with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
Never soak the board in water. Never place it in the dishwasher.
Avoid leaving the board in direct sunlight for extended periods.
Even a finished hardwood board may warp if exposed to water, heat for too long.
Refreshing the Finish
All EF Wodcraft boards are initally finished with food-safe Odie's Oil. Over time and through use, the board may begin to feel dry or dull, it can be refreshed easily. Lightly sand the surface with 800 grit or higher sandpaper. Even crumpled up brown paper bag does the trick. Apply a thin coat of EF-ing Good Wood Wax to the board. Allow the finish to sit for 30 minutes. Buff fully with a clean cloth until the surface no longer shows fingerprints. Let the board rest overnight before using again.
